    Land Rover's unique quick-release tow hitch receiver system mounts into an aperture under the rear bumper.  

    When the hitch receiver isn't installed, this red plug cover should be fitted to prevent the build up of mud and road dirt in the hole.

    Vehicles come fitted with this plug from the factory, but it can be easily lost over time.
